Egyptian Armlet

Sorry for not blogging for AGES!  I have finally just got round to it.  I've been super busy with school and after school activities.

I made this Egyptian armlet for my homework this week, using a white coffee cup wrap and some punched shapes from scrap paper in my favourite colours - blue & purple.   I also added some shiny gold heart stickers.

Stripy Candy Ballerina

Hello everyone.  Hope you're enjoying your summer, even though the weather isn't great.

I've had time to make some more cards and this is my favourite make, using one of my favourite images, LOTV Little Ballerina.  Isn't she cute?   I've coloured her with Whispers pens.  I've used my own layout and added some faux stitching and handsewn (with only a little help from mum) the 3 buttons.

Cards for My Teachers

This year, I've had 2 teachers, who have both been fantastic!  So, I wanted to make them a card each.

The first one was for my main teacher, Mrs Leitch.  I used LOTV Rosie Posie, coloured with felt pens.  The papers are Papermania Henbury.  

The 2nd was for Miss Wylie.  I used LOTV Messy Message.

 This is the end of my first week of summer holidays and it has been great.  Can't wait for the other 7 weeks!

Fairy on Tiptoe

 I was lucky enough to win the LOTV prize of at Messy's Mini Missions for the Christmas theme - woohoo!!  VERY excited.  Just need to hope that the postman is going to make it into our estate some time soon. 

I'm still off school due to the snow, so I have made this card for Messy's new mission of "Things with Wings".  And I can also enter Flutterby Wednesday's Anything goes challenge.

Wogga Witch Card

This is my entry for Messy's Mini Missions, whose first challenge is "Trick or Treat".  I've drawn and coloured the witch, who I've named Wogga Witch.  There's also a sweet treat in the corner for her if she wants it!!

Miniature Garden

This was the miniature garden I made during my summer holidays.  The blue glass pebbles are a pond, the green parts are little patches of grass, the egg shells are tiles, the rice is stones, the pine cones are trees and the cake case is a table.  There was also a cake case and lolly stick swing that grandad Deryck helped me with.

I loved making this because it was fun putting all the things on top of the soil and deciding what they could be.
